Flags flying, so to speak, is when they throw a "flag" down on the field... it's a colored piece of weighted down cloth that signifies some kind of penalty.

I always loved crowd pleaser shows like this!!! Whenever you hit a set and the crowd sees it materialize and then they go, "Ohhhh... YAYYYY!!!!" and you're on the field, part of the formation... A+ feeling. And to answer you about how long it takes to practice this... Generally college marching bands have to make a new show for each new home show! Sometimes that can be one week in between, or two, but its not usually much more than that!!!

Yea, now after the whole thing with concussions. You can't hit the helmet (at least on purpose, and even then), other places as well. No holding on the tackle, and unsportsmanlike conduct can and will get you ejected from the game, stadium, and even if bad enough suspended and/or banned entirely. (Like taking out hits so to speak (literally going out on purpose and tackling down so hard that it is clearly intended to injure or worse))

When you asked about the time stamps and the teams -- that was Notre Dame at Virginia Tech! I was in the band at Notre Dame. :) Having been raised on D1 college football, let's just say I've never never been terribly impressed by the atmosphere in soccer stadiums. 😂
